Hi, I'm Gina, a 45 year-old, happy wife (happy person actually), Londoner and life-long communications professional. And.... in 2019 I finally became a happy mother!

A woman of many passions; travel, cooking (eating), knitting, hiking, running, Manchester United supporting, cricket watching, Depeche Mode loving, crossword decrypting and box set consuming. But I have a secret. No matter how hard I tried, the baby plan didn't quite work out. After six years of trying, it was time to try something different*. So here's how, with the help of an incredible egg donor,  my Plan B became Plan A.

*Rest assured, this blog isn't going to be all doom and gloom. Yes, there are a few things I want to get off my chest in the journey towards donor conception, but that's not my whole life. I do other things too!
